Enduser Tour to Rathenow, Brandenburg

We will get a guided tour at Ophthalmica Brillengläser & ASKANIA Mikroskop Technik Rathenow GmbH.

Ophthalmica Brillengläser, based in Rathenow, is a manufacturer that has been offering high-quality eyeglass lenses, including grinding, tinting, and finishing, “Made in Germany” since 1992. Askania Mikroskop Technik Rathenow, on the other hand, specializes in precision optical devices, including microscopes for education and industry, as well as project solutions. Both companies stand for quality, customized solutions, and precision in the optics hub of Rathenow.

We look forward to exciting insights into the work of two popular photonics end users.

Meeting point: Railroad station Rathenow, Dunkerplatz 21, 14712 Rathenow

Meeting time: 10:00 a.m. at station exit (direction to Dunkerplatz)

We will take a reserved shuttle as a group to visit the two locations. The bus will leave the starting point at 10:10 a.m. After the second visit the bus will bring us back to train station Rathenow, from there everybody can travel back on it´s own.

We will provide you with names from OpTecBB, that will join the trip, as soon as possible. You will be noticed via private e-mail couple of days before the tour.
